In air compressor system, the major equipment include air compressor, air storage tank, pressure reducing valve, air filters, steam separator and safety valve etc. The usually pressure on the paper making machine need is about 5-6BAR.In most paper mill, there are more than 2 air compressor operation parallel, and then through the gas tank to keep the pressure constant.
Because of the big compressor power and control pressure is generally regulated through the loaded or unloaded, the motor always running at full speed. Practice indicates that this control way is energy consumption and waste serious.So it is tend to adapt a convertor with multiple power frequency to control the compressor and form a pressure closed loop at same time.
